Dr. Kooper Ruminer
Dr. Jeffrey Kooper Ruminer, known as Dr. Kooper, has deep roots in the Deer Creek community, where he attended school from elementary through high school. Excelling both academically and athletically, he graduated with distinction and earned a full-ride scholarship to play college football at the University of Central Oklahoma. During his time there, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduating with honors in 2017. Following his undergraduate success, Dr. Kooper attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in 2021.
From a young age, Dr. Kooper had a passion for building and creating. Whether it was assembling intricate models or working on hands-on projects, he knew that his future career would involve using his hands. After his football career ended in college, he began working for a friend who was an orthodontist, which sparked his interest in dentistry. It was then that he realized dentistry was the perfect blend of his interests in art, science, and making a meaningful impact on others.
“The most exciting part of dentistry for me is the daily impact it can have on someone’s life,” says Dr. Kooper. “A smile is the first thing people notice when meeting someone. Helping patients achieve a smile they can be confident in is everything.”
Dr. Kooper has dedicated the past three years to mastering comprehensive facial esthetics and cosmetic dentistry. His approach goes beyond designing teeth; he creates smiles that harmonize with each patient’s unique facial features, enhancing their overall appearance. “No two smiles are the same,” he explains. “Each one is handcrafted to complement and elevate the patient’s natural beauty.” This specialized focus ensures that his patients receive exceptional, personalized care.
Dr. Kooper’s personal life is just as deeply tied to the Deer Creek community as his professional one. He and his wife Jessie, high school sweethearts, live in the same district where they first met, now raising their family there. They have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Kollyns, and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their son, Decker, in February. Their household also includes two beloved dogs: Fenway, a Labrador, and Kash, a bulldog.
Dr. Kooper is excited to bring his passion, expertise, and commitment to the community he has always called home. Whether crafting a smile or connecting with neighbors, he looks forward to making a lasting difference in the lives of his patients.
