At your dental cleaning appointment, our hygienist will check your gums for signs of recession or periodontal pocketing. They will remove plaque and tartar from your gum line and between your teeth, then polish with an electric brush and floss. We also provide an oral cancer screening during your visit. If you are prone to cavities or have ongoing tooth sensitivity, we may suggest a prescription fluoride treatment or mouthwash.
