At your dental cleaning appointment, our hygienist will assess your gums for signs of recession or periodontal pocketing. They will remove plaque and tartar from your gum line and between your teeth, followed by polishing with an advanced electric brush and flossing. We also provide an oral cancer screening during your visit. If you are prone to cavities or have chronic tooth sensitivity, we may suggest a prescription fluoride treatment or mouthwash.
